Salary: £35,000

We're looking for a skilled Mechanic and MOT Tester to join a busy, well-established garage. If you take pride in your work, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a team that values quality over quick fixes, this could be the right opportunity for you.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for servicing, repairs, and MOT testing. You'll work on a variety of vehicles, diagnosing faults, carrying out routine maintenance, and ensuring everything meets safety and roadworthiness standards. The workshop is well-equipped, and you'll be part of a team that knows how to get the job done without unnecessary stress.

Working Hours

Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Duties

  1. Servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicles
  2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
  3. Carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards
  4. Ensuring all work is completed safely and meets regulations

Key Requirements

  1. Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
  2. Experience in a similar mechanic or MOT testing role
  3. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
