We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team in Hemel Hempstead – this is an exciting opportunity to be part of and grow within a successful team in a long term role.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Uses hand tools and power to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
  • Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
  • Responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications, disassembly, repairs, reassembly, test calibrations, diagnoses, and correction of problems.
  • Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
  • Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.
  • May be required to complete an apprenticeship or training.
Basic Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years previous Mechanical & Assembly work is essential – ideally from the Aerospace industry.
  • Flexible with high attention to detail.
