Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Fitter (Nights)

Salary: £44,000 to £48,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits and opportunities to progress up through their salary grades and receive enhancements

Hours: Nights - 9pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday

Location: Commutable from Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Tamworth and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter (Nights) to work within a manufacturing company at one of their leading automated factories. Responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, working nights, Monday to Thursday 9pm to 7am. Your role will include, although not limited to:

1. Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
2. Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
3. Assisting with planned shutdowns and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.

Requirements

1. Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
2. Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered.
3. Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
4. Any experience of SOME of the following: Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc.
5. Motivated and driven to succeed.
6. Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.
