Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025/September 2025

Your Mission
As a Maths Teacher for Secondary, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mathematics education to secondary school students, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the Head of Department, teachers, and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
3. Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students, tailoring strategies and resources to meet their specific needs.
4. Participate in departmental meetings and discussions to share insights and strategies for improving teaching and learning.
5. Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included.
6. Employ different instructional techniques and materials to cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
7. Keep detailed records of students’ progress and communicate this information to parents and other relevant parties.

What You Bring to the Table

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or overseas qualifications.
2. Experience working in a secondary school setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
4. Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
5. Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions.
6. Additional qualifications or training in mathematics education are advantageous but not mandatory.
