Your new role
Position: Part-Time Maths Teacher
Working Hours: Wednesdays
Employment Type: 0.2 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
Location: West Sussex

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
3. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
5. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths curriculum.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
2. A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo a new DBS check.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
