Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Maths teacher to work in a partnership school in Goole, starting April 22nd, 2025, and lasting until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position, covering a vacant role, which may lead to a permanent position in the future if the candidate enjoys the role. Full planning and marking will be expected, and payment will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale, from M1 - M6, equivalent to £162.31 to £223.62 per day.

This role will involve teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 students only. Full planning and marking will be expected, but a large bank of resources is available, meaning planning requirements should be minimal. Candidates should expect to amend existing resources to fit the needs of the learners in the class.

The school is part of a large national academy trust that values its staff, both permanent and temporary. It is located in Goole and is best accessed by candidates who drive, with an onsite car park that has ample free spaces. There are also good train links from Hull and York.

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Have experience supporting within UK schools.
• Have experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 students.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
• Ensure your CV covers your full employment history.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
