Our client, a reputable high school based in Chelmsford, is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a wide range of students, fostering a love for Maths while guiding them to success in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEN.

  • Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and problem-solving.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted interventions.

  • Prepare students for external exams, including GCSEs, through tailored lessons and revision sessions.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.

  • Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and other staff to ensure the well-being and academic progress of students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching.
