Maths Teacher
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £120 - £250 per day
Start Date: Easter Term
Contract Type: Full-time

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a dynamic and supportive school? GSL Education Kent is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher for a full-time role in a well-established secondary school in Canterbury. This position starts in the Easter term and is ideal for an educator who is committed to delivering engaging and high-quality maths lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to a diverse range of learners.
• Support and challenge students to achieve their best in a structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards in the maths department.
• Encourage a passion for mathematics and problem-solving among students.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in department activities and extracurricular opportunities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
