- Deliver engaging and well-structured lectures in mathematics at [Further Education (FE) / Higher Education (HE)] level.
- Develop and update course materials in line with curriculum requirements.
- Use a range of teaching methodologies to support diverse learners.
- Assess and provide feedback on student work to support academic progress.
- Conduct tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions where applicable.
- Support students with academic guidance and career advice.
- Engage in research and professional development to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and quality assurance processes.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience teaching maths at [FE/HE] level.
- Strong communication and presentation skills as a Maths Lecturer.
- Passion for teaching and supporting student success.
