Maths Academic Coach

Are you a graduate looking to gain experience before starting a teacher training course?

Position: Maths Academic Coach
Salary: £80 - £90 per day
Start Date: Immediate start until July 2025
Location: ‘Outstanding’ secondary school, Willenhall
Role: 1:1 and small group academic support through Maths KS3 & KS4

The Role

As a Maths Academic Coach, you will support students who need additional help in Maths. You will work in both one-to-one and small-group settings, helping pupils develop their problem-solving skills, numerical fluency, and confidence in tackling mathematical concepts. Your role will be key in improving student attainment and preparing them for exams.

The Candidate

This role is ideal for a Maths graduate or someone with a strong academic background in the subject. The school is looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to engage and motivate students. Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
