Materials Planner

Location: This on-site role is an immediate requirement, located at 6 Kilmartin Pl, Uddingston, Glasgow G71 5PH.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE plus Company Pension Scheme, 30 days holiday entitlement per year and further benefits available including flexitime and a generous bonus scheme.
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Aerotron Avotec Ltd is an aircraft component manufacturer looking for a dedicated Materials Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring timely procurement of materials.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements.
2. Forecast demand and plan material requirements accordingly.
3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
4. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
5. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational needs.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in materials planning or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
4. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
