Production & Materials Planner - Derbyshire

Are you a planner looking for your next role where you can grow and develop in a close-knit team?

The business is a highly regarded, large food manufacturer with a fantastic reputation for quality and innovation.

The role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Planner to oversee the site's full product range, managing a two to six week production horizon to meet customer service requirements at the optimal supply chain cost. You'll ensure materials and packaging are available to support seamless production, manage supplier relationships, and maintain stock accuracy across the site. The role involves Distribution Requirement Planning, resolving invoice queries, and providing cover for the Planning & Procurement Manager.

About you

  • Proven experience in production planning
  • Strong understanding of ERP processes and inventory management principles
  • Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with systems
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • A focus on continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail
