Job Description
A pioneer of novel instrumentation in Cambridge is looking for a research PhD graduate to work on next materials, and Newton Colmore is assisting with their search.
The company is ideally looking for a recent physics or electronics PhD graduate who is now ready to apply their academic knowledge in industry. You will be working on highly complex projects that aim to develop robust and versatile materials that solve a series of different problems across multiple applications. A key area of focus is using materials to decarbonise emission-heavy devices and systems.
You will be working alongside engineers and scientists in this multidisciplinary team, scoping new ideas and concepts, and running with these through the entire development process. The company has a strong track record of delivering new innovations to market and this role will give you the opportunity to contribute to that history.
