Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Materials and Methods Engineer to work on their contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area.
For the successful Materials and Methods Engineer, our client is offering:
- Salary: Negotiable Day Rate (Depending on skillset and experience) Inside IR35
- Working 45 hours, 5 days a week, core working hours between 7am - 7pm
- Temporary contract role (Likely duration 6 Months)
- Immediate start for the right candidate
- Digs provided on-site
The Role - Materials and Methods Engineer
- Will assist the Project Engineering and Delivery teams with materials engineering, material approvals, and Inspection & Test Plan
- Oversee the quality, specifications, and client requirements of materials used for the project
- Ensure materials comply with sustainability, industry standards, and safety requirements
- Identifying potential issues, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to optimise material usage throughout the Project
- Cooperation and advice of the environmental carbon team to meet carbon targets
- Engage with the supply chain and subcontractors, and support the engineering, procurement, and construction teams
What our client is looking for in a Materials and Methods Engineer:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a related science field, or an equivalent - ESSENTIAL
- Experience in Civil, MEP, and High Voltage construction methods - ESSENTIAL
- Familiarity with EDMS such as Themis, ProjectWise, Aconex, BIM360 - ESSENTIAL
- CSCS Card
- Exceptional technical writing experience
- Must be happy to be based on site
