Responsibilities

• Review production orders and determine correct packing materials are available at the line.
• Take the materials to the operators.
• Transport finished product from the production lines to the pallet wrapper and prepare product for shipment.
• Move skids and pallets to designated areas.
• Transport scrap-filled gaylord to recycling area and complete paperwork.
• Communicate with shipping and production supervisor daily as needed.
• Operate fork truck safely and follow Berry’s Safety Absolutes at all times.
• Perform additional tasks as needed per leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• At least 6 months of forklift experience required.
• Self-motivated without supervision.
• Experience in a team-oriented environment is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform functional math; i.e., adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with a handheld calculator.
