What You'll Do
Position Overview:
(Please note that this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract Role!)
The Marketing Specialist sits within the LAB Events, Communities and Alumni team, reporting to the Senior Manager team lead.
The role will be focused 45% on alumni events, relationship excellence, programme management. The remaining 55% will cover client community programmes and events, alongside wider UK events. Occasional travel is a requirement for this role.
What will you do:
As a successful candidate, you will work closely with the Senior Manager - Alumni, Events & Communities (line manager) in executing and measuring the success of alumni engagement and client community events programmes which directly respond to LAB’s commercial priorities and showcase the best of BCG to our alumni and client audiences across our three offices – with a particular UK focus. You will support these activities by:
Data support and maintenance:
Ongoing upkeep of alumni data in CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), (activation of leavers and tagging).
Event tracking, reporting and analysis.
Communications:
Liaison as required across the global BCG marketing function (e.g. with subject matter experts, editorial team, counterparts in other countries etc.).
Managing additional ad hoc mailings when required.
Actively working to identify and disseminate both internal and external best practice.

What You'll Bring
4+ years' experience in marketing/events/alumni relations coordinator role.
Fluency in English – both oral and written.
Strong project/event management skills.
Excellent writing skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Engage, Marketo, Adobe Photoshop, a plus.
Strong communication skills, resourceful and creative.
Able to work in a fast-paced, complex environment, ready to jump in with solutions to problems and run with them.
Being a team player.
Staying organized, communicative and making progress amidst a high volume of complex projects and stakeholders.
