Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is to assist the Sales and Marketing team in meeting census/occupancy objectives and to serve all Immanuel business lines in their marketing and communication efforts. This position will focus on photography, social media management, and graphic design. They will collaborate daily with other marketing team members and support and live out Immanuel’s Mission and CHRIST Promises.

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

Marketing

  • Manage assigned project deadlines, tasks, reviews, and priorities using the Immanuel Marketing team’s project management software (Wrike).
  • Manage the conception, writing, reviewing, posting, and scheduling of all Immanuel social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
  • Execute end-to-end production of photography projects ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and remain within the approved budget. This involves following set pre-production, shoot-production, and post-production processes to maintain consistent and efficient photography projects.
  • Attend all activities relevant to the execution of photography projects, such as pre-production meetings, scheduling, locations scouts, and studio/on-location shoots. The Marketing Specialist may complete photo shoots alone or working collaboratively with other marketing team members.
  • Assist with procuring, storing, and maintaining all Immanuel-owned photography equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
  • Facilitate the booking, maintenance, and upgrades of the Immanuel photo, video, and podcast studio located at the home office.
  • Support the scheduling and production of video projects as a production assistant, camera operator, or assistant producer.
  • Assist with the conception and design of various print and digital marketing communications (including flyers, postcards, booklets, posters, signs, and infographics).
  • Partner with marketing team members to create and execute email, social media, and digital marketing campaigns that promote Immanuel communities, centers, and the overall organizational brand.
  • Analyze and report on marketing data to determine the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies; modifies as necessary to maximize results.
  • Evaluate competitors' activities and develop strategies to differentiate Immanuel's marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and implement various marketing databases, including email lists and customer profiles.
  • Assist with planning and organizing marketing events like video premieres, photography sessions, internal strategy sessions, creative team-building activities, and more.
  • Assist in coordinating marketing and public relations-related events, walks, and sponsorships. This includes coordination of promotional items and assessing new sponsorship, advertising, and partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate Immanuel branded online apparel stores. Research, orders, and coordinate inventory levels of specialty products and branded promotional items.

Customer Service

  • Collaborate with marketing team members, department heads, and other internal key stakeholders of Immanuel to conceptualize and execute photography, digital content, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders, vendors, and industry/trade organizations to produce successful marketing content, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Communicate with internal groups to ensure other departments know current marketing communications and initiatives.
  • Utilize resident, participant, and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

Other

  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Skills & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Marketing, Photography, Graphic Design, Multi-Media Production, Communications or a related field
  • Equivalent years of experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Experience

  • 1-5 years of experience in marketing, photography, or graphic design is required.
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, and website content management systems (WordPress, HubSpot).
  • Extensive experience using Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite of photography and graphic design software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, & InDesign).
