Job purpose and background

Are you a highly analytical marketing professional and CRM specialist with a passion for delivering data-led campaigns that drive results? Do enjoy delving into the details to identify ongoing improvements to digital marketing activity, supporting others around you to continually test, learn and iterate?

The Marketing Performance Manager at CDP manages a team of CRM marketers to plan and roll out email marketing campaigns to our broad range of stakeholders, while also building tools and processes that enable us to perform at our best. It presents a real opportunity for the right individual to use their analytical skills to have a positive impact on people and planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Build a high-performance CRM team within CDP that has the tools, skills and processes to meet organizational objectives.
  • Build and own the email marketing plan and roadmap outlining our long-term ambition and the quarter-by-quarter activity needed to achieve it.
  • Lead the relationship with relevant colleagues in Digital to ensure that our CRM Marketing tools continue to be fit-for-purpose.
  • Build technical CRM marketing resilience within the organization through training and development within the team.
  • Establish and embed process for email marketing, working with the AD, Marketing Performance and Enablement.
  • Contribute to cross-functional planning on, and delivery of, MarTech requirements.
  • Coordinate the creation and management of a holistic plan for agreeing, measuring, disseminating and acting on key performance metrics across all Marketing channels, working closely with the wider Marketing Performance and Enablement team.

Required skills and experience

  • Experience of managing and developing a high-performance team.
  • The ability to effectively manage and prioritize the workload of a busy team.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving value through CRM / customer lifecycle marketing for a complex, mission-driven organisation.
  • Experience of superuser-level CRM access, with the ability to train and support others.
  • Experience of using marketing automation applications to run complex mailings, with continued improvement and learning integral to the approach.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to distil actionable insight from wide-ranging data. Familiarity with a range of marketing analytics tools including Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Google Data Studios.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to support colleagues to create compelling email content.
  • Experience of building brand engagement through email marketing plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and communicate findings clearly.
  • Experience of delivering B2B email marketing campaigns within a global organization that communicates in multiple languages.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Desired skills and experience

  • Experience of using Power BI.
  • Experience of leading, or being involved in, the creation of segmentation models.
  • Experience of working closely with sales team to manage the marketing to sales funnel.

This is a full-time permanent role based at CDP’s London office reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing Performance and Enablement.

Salary and benefits: £37,643 per annum, 30 days’ holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.
