Figma's International Marketing leads all elements of the marketing mix in local languages, and we are looking for an expert and proactive Marketing Operations & CRM Manager to help us scale. They will lead email deployments and database growth across EMEA, Japan, APAC, and LATAM and support the team by driving, optimizing, and reporting on multilingual CRM campaigns. We are seeking a great teammate for the first Marketing Operations & CRM role at Figma internationally. In this position, you will work closely with the HQ-based Marketing Operations Centre of Excellence and play a crucial role in analyzing our customer and user database, targeting, benchmarking, conducting growth experiments, and optimizing processes.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Improve and implement international marketing database requests for personalized communications and continuous campaign rollouts in EMEA, Japan, APAC, and LATAM. Own the request and deployment processes, create audience queries and advise on segmentation, set up deployment sprints, ELAs, templates, and partner with regional marketers on content to create standard processes for user communications.
- Own and project lead the end-to-end execution and reporting on multilingual evergreen nurtures and be accountable for campaign contribution to conversion, ARR, and the number of campaigns and experiments per quarter.
- Act as the key MarTech and Lead Scoring guide internationally, both proactively resolving practical queries and strategically advising on our MarTech stack, as well as staying up to date on Global Lead Scoring approaches and KPIs.
- Be responsible for the international database as a channel, collaborating closely with regional marketing managers and 3rd party partners, including SEO, Paid, Content, and Marketing Operations agencies and suppliers, ensuring that both Demand Generation and Sign up targeted campaigns are built with CRM distribution in mind.
- Report on the overall growth of the database, ARR influence of CRM channels, and communicate database experiments and learnings to the wider International and Global marketing teams.
- Proactively highlight database engagement signals, create hypotheses on marketing campaigns’ success, and conduct feature, product, content, and event email engagement analysis through user behavior reporting.
- Collaborate with Global XFN partners (Marketing Operations, Tech & Systems, Demand, Analytics & Data, Brand, Business Operations & Strategy, Sales Operations, Events, Paid Marketing) to ensure a high standard and speed of execution of International database campaigns. This role will lead the International Email calendar and collaborate to seamlessly integrate multilingual sends with existing lifecycle and global comms, while focusing on efficiency and optimization.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 7+ years of demonstrated ability in marketing operations, customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, database management, CRM management, or similar roles, with a proven track record working with either demand generation SaaS, product-led growth, or self-serve business model.
- 2+ B2B marketing experience, working with a Sales organization.
- Experienced project manager, able to influence XFN partners. A great teammate and confident communicator.
- Deep technical knowledge of marketing tools, systems, and data flows: with experience with Hubspot, Marketo, SFDC, Customer IO, or other tools.
- Expert solid understanding of HTML and CSS for email.
- Data analytics experience: database segmentation & target lists creation, reporting, and analysis.
- High Google Sheets or Excel proficiency and Analytics platform experience: e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics.
- Ability to showcase the value of database marketing campaigns.
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Data analytics stack, query, and dashboard creation: e.g., SQL, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Power BI. Experience with Marketing Data Warehouses: e.g., Snowflake, Google Big Query.
- Data visualization experience, and experience of structuring and communicating metrics-based hypotheses and assumptions.
- Conversion Rate Optimization expertise.
- Previous experience in brand marketing or copywriting within data-focused or technological aspects of Digital Marketing, for instance. Paid Acquisition, AI Marketing, Affiliate Marketing.
- Growth Marketing Owner approach, curious about providing users and customers with the highest quality messaging that helps them achieve more with Figma.
- Agile or Scrum Certification.
