As Marketing Manager, your role is to support and deliver Kanda’s marketing strategy, working closely with the Managing Director, Chief of Staff, and Director of Strategic Communications. You will be responsible for producing a calendar of marketing events and delivering marketing activities, creating plans using Asana, our project management tool, to track deliverables.
This role is a very important hire for Kanda as we continue to grow the agency, take on more clients, and explore new areas of growth.
Providing a centralized marketing management function across the business, reporting to and line managed by the Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and reviewing a marketing strategy for the year ahead designed to enhance Kanda’s brand and promote expertise, services, growth areas, and personnel changes.
- Overseeing the team’s channel for Kanda networking events.
- Creating and managing a content plan for all Kanda social media platforms.
- Preparing and executing the monthly Kanda client newsletter and weekly staff newsletter.
- Ascertaining and increasing the effectiveness of Kanda’s marketing activities and understanding the way users interact with the Kanda website and social media platforms.
- Responsible for the organization and delivery of Kanda marketing events, i.e., research, logistics, presentations, etc.
- Responsible for updating the Kanda marketing brochure.
- Responsible for maintaining the Kanda client list database for mailouts and other marketing initiatives.
- Monitoring and tracking social media trends, competitor activities, and industry news to inform content strategy and stay ahead of market shifts.
- Assisting in SEO optimization to enhance online visibility and search rankings.
About You
- A couple of years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of the sector.
- Excellent communication skills necessary for collaboration across the business.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, plan and track progress, with the ability to prioritize the urgent vs. important.
- Strong analytical skills, along with the ability to research and evaluate data such as ROI on marketing campaigns, and spot emerging trends.
- High standard writing skills, and understanding how to adapt content for different uses, e.g., press release writing, web content.
- High attention to detail, proofreading content.
- Relevant degree or experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills to assist in creating pitch and cred materials.
- Basic knowledge of marketing tools.

Salary and Reporting
Salary: £35k – £45k depending on experience.
This is a full-time, permanent role, subject to a three-month probationary period.
