Job description

Lime Talent are partnering with an award-winning, employee-owned food business in Surrey on a Marketing Manager role. Our company supplies major UK retailers, food service, and manufacturing customers with predominantly Own Label as well as Branded ambient goods.

You’ll join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, create a strategy to grow market share, enhance brand reputation, and improve customer experience. You will have ownership and responsibility for developing key brands, as well as providing a holistic view of the business in terms of all marketing and key stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Managing and coordinating all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for new and existing products, ensuring collaboration with the Commercial team.
  • Expanding and developing marketing platforms, including social media.
  • Identifying trends and new product development (NPD) opportunities across the business.
  • Developing the brand strategy, including setting style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision, and value proposition for short- and long-term goals.
  • Translating brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of all marketing efforts, including their contribution to the success of sales campaigns.
  • Analyzing sales forecasts and relevant financials, and reporting on product sales, return on investment, and key performance metrics.
  • Working closely with the Commercial and Insights team to coordinate the production of marketing materials and printed collateral, ensuring that marketing materials are kept up to date and produced for key markets as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Technical team to manage existing product development, including designing labels and trays for our product range.
  • Maintaining and updating website pages.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in marketing.
  • A 2.1 or above in a relevant business or marketing degree.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and project-driven.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach.
