What you'll do:

The Marketing Graduate Programme will take you through an intense, demanding but incredibly rewarding two years of structured development across the three core areas of Marketing:

  1. Brand & Strategy: This division looks after strategic planning, brand strategy, and media. Working with our agencies, the media team is responsible for planning and buying the media to ensure Lidl advertising is seen in the right place, at the right time, by the right people.
  2. Campaigns & Content: This team is responsible for project managing all brand, trade driving, and business as usual campaigns and projects from development to implementation. They manage all channels for a campaign, from TV to radio, in-store to online.
  3. Brand Engagement: This team creates meaningful moments through partnerships, events, and communications. They work closely with our international colleagues on global partnerships such as UEFA, through to local store marketing and store-specific events. They also ensure our products and brands are seen and heard through innovative PR and winning quality awards.

Across each team, you will work alongside and feed into our in-house production and creative team, who design, artwork, and create beautiful photography.

What you'll need:

  • A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline by September 2025 or graduated no earlier than September 2023.
  • Experience working within a marketing-based role is advantageous.
  • Passion for working as part of a team and ability to work independently.
  • Desire to learn, develop, and challenge yourself in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • A naturally analytical mindset with plenty of common sense.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial flair, adaptable and highly driven.
  • Decisive and able to cope with the pressure of demanding targets and deadlines.
  • Communicates confidently and effectively.
  • Already live - or happy to relocate - within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Head Office, Tolworth, Surrey.
  • To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
  • German language skills desirable but not essential.
  • Able to attend the assessment day on 23rd January 2025.
