Marketing are the driving force behind that growth, and as such we are developing and expanding the team to better acquire new customers and deliver ever better value to, and from, our existing customer base.
Purpose
The Marketing Executive will be focused on demand generation activities that create awareness of The Barcode Warehouse, and interest in our products and services. They will be working with the wider Marketing team and other internal stakeholders including Sales, Product and Innovation, and Service Operations teams to develop compelling propositions and then design and deliver multi-channel campaigns to targeted audiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to develop new propositions and enhance existing ones
- Collaborating with the wider team (Product Marketing, CRM, Digital, Content and Web teams) to devise, develop, and deliver marketing campaigns
- Own the communication and channel strategies for individual campaigns
- Analyse campaign performance and feed learnings into a continuous improvement plan
- Work closely with Sales to deliver the right tools, assets and customer communications to ensure lead conversion is optimised
- Conducting market, customer and competitor research to inform the wider marketing strategy and campaign development
Essential Experience
- Experience of using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot)
- Track record of delivering revenue generating campaigns in a B2B environment (preferably services and solutions focused)
- Experience of working with creative agencies and other suppliers
- Stakeholder management, in particular working directly with sales leaders
- Experience of using CMS
- Experience in the creation and copy writing of email marketing campaigns
- Knowledge and application of best practice lead generation approaches
- Customer segmentation and targeting
Desired Experience
- Knowledge of SEO principals
- Hands on knowledge of delivering organic and paid digital campaigns
- Practical knowledge of Google Analytics
- Understanding of Google ads and how they can be managed to support campaign goals
- Experience of developing propositions for specific campaigns
- Experience managing and developing a brand identity
- Experience working in a technology markets
- Experience in providing detailed ROI reporting
