Success Recruit are currently working with a leading supplier based in Witham, Essex providing a high-end service to the Construction Industry. The Company is in search of a dynamic & skilled Marketing Events Specialist to join their growing and fast-paced team. NB Travel is required between Witham, Essex & Hadleigh, Suffolk so please consider this when applying for travel and journey times.

The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Marketing Team; They will manage & execute all exhibitions, customer-facing events, and sales support activities.

The successful Marketing Event / Exhibition Specialist expectations:
  1. Ideally have 3 years' experience in organising exhibitions, trade shows, or corporate events from start to finish
  2. Strong project management skills accompanied with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  3. A flare for detail and creativity working alongside the design team
  4. Driving license & car is essential

Job Specification

Purpose of the role:

The Marketing Event Specialist will be a key member within the Marketing team, focusing on enhancing brand visibility, engaging with customers, and supporting the sales team with marketing collateral & promotional materials for all exhibitions / trade shows.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will enjoy taking a proactive & creative approach to problem-solving and planning. They will also require knowledge of event logistics, supplier management, and budget control.

Duties to include but not limited to:
  1. Planning, coordinating, and executing all exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events
  2. Managing event logistics, including venue selection, stand design, setup, and breakdown
  3. Organising & overseeing customer-facing events to strengthen client relationships
  4. Providing marketing support to the sales team, including the design & distribution of point-of-sale materials, promotional items, and marketing collateral
  5. Working within budgetary constraints
  6. Liaising with customers, external vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  7. Ensuring all events align with company brand guidelines and messaging
  8. Measuring the success of events through feedback & performance metrics to optimise future initiatives
