Marketing Director
Reports to VP, Global Marketing
Job Summary
The Marketing Director will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing OPEN Health's thought leadership communications and account-based marketing campaigns.
This role has significant interaction with key internal and external stakeholders within OPEN Health such as: account teams, thought leaders, industry partners and vendors.
This role is focused on lead generation and sharing of insights with the broader teams to drive pipeline and track metrics to align with the organization's strategic plan and goals for growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and implementation of OPEN Health's communications, marketing and engagement strategies in Scientific Communications, HEOR/Market Access, and Patient Engagement
- Work with account teams to develop and implement account-based marketing strategies to drive leads through the sales cycle, tracking the metrics for reporting insights to the team
- Develop and manage a thought leadership calendar to enhance community engagement with OPEN Health's overall brand, team, and services
- Implement a go-to-market strategy with content deployment/distribution for social media, website, promotional webinars, and digital and printing marketing materials, including use of analytics in evaluating effectiveness
- Manage all aspects of the global conference strategy coordinating the pre and post conference campaigns for use of presentations, publications, and symposia driven by OPEN Health thought leaders
- Drive market share growth and transform OPEN Health's trajectory through innovative marketing strategies
- Work with VP, Marketing to build out budgets using insights from previous years
- Partner with OPEN Health leadership to identify the key levers to grow the pipeline across each practice
- Measure and regularly report the impact of the marketing activities
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, or relevant field in a global role with knowledge of UK, European and US markets
- Experience in a medcomms or healthcare agency or pharma environment
- Knowledge of industry channels targeting global pharma sectors
- Good planning and project management skills
- Experience working in a global marketing team
- Ability to partner with functional teams to engage employees and encourage collaboration
- Experience producing high quality content and leveraging digital content and channels
- Excellent communicator with exceptional influencing ability
Travel Requirements
- As required by business needs
- The role will require approx. 20% travel within the UK, EU and US
