In this role, you will be an essential member of both the Marketing Leadership Team and the Divisional Management Team, collaborating closely with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to drive ambitious growth plans.
Title: Marketing Director
Location: UK- Based, covering multiple markets (UK, EMEA, US+)
Industry: Fast SaaS software products for the Micro- SMB business segment
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the General Manager and Global Sales Director to align on targets, resources, and expectations
- Support the integration and delivery of acquisitions
- Act as the voice of the customer—understanding business goals and pain points while creating open communication channels with the market
- Articulate the divisional vision and demonstrate how we address challenges for prospects, customers, and industry leaders
- Provide marketing vision and leadership for product lines
- Drive demand generation efforts to achieve Marketing “Backward Sales Plan” targets using innovative tools and techniques
- Collaborate with the central marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message
- Build and lead a high-performing global marketing team, ensuring workloads are managed effectively across all geographies
- Evolve Marketing Performance metrics and communicate changes effectively, ensuring compliance with data regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a growth marketer in a B2B demand generation role, specifically in the SMB segment
- Strong background in SaaS solutions targeted at small businesses
- Expertise in ABM (Account-Based Marketing), demand generation, and indirect sales strategies
- Experience with lead generation, website optimization, content marketing, and digital tools throughout the customer journey
- Ability to create strategic marketing plans and execute initiatives directly
- Commercial mindset, capable of making decisions to optimize marketing spend and ROI
- A proactive approach, unafraid to challenge the status quo to achieve targets
- Strong accountability and ownership of strategy, plans, and outcomes
