Marketing Data Analyst Apprentice - Nottingham

Role Purpose: Annual Salary - £18,000 (2 Year Contract)
Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
Estimated start date - September 2025
English and Maths GCSE desirable, but not essential.
Qualification - Level 3-5 depending on experience. Please note anyone who holds a degree or similar qualification in this apprenticeship subject will not be eligible.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst Apprentice to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting data-driven marketing initiatives by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data. Your insights will help optimise marketing strategies and contribute to informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Extraction & Analysis: Learn to utilise SQL for data extraction from databases, assist in data preparation and analysis for reports, and contribute to the development of dashboards and reports using Power BI.
2. Reporting & Visualisation: Gather, analyse, and interpret marketing data to monitor performance and aid decision-making, while assisting in the creation of insightful reports and dashboards using Marketing Cloud Intelligence and Power BI.
3. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Present data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and assist in managing relationships with stakeholders to address their data requirements.
4. Learning & Development: Engage in training sessions to enhance your SQL and Power BI skills, while staying current with the latest data analysis techniques and trends in the industry.
5. Administrative Support: Aid in maintaining data consistency and provide support for the team with day-to-day operational tasks.

Skills and Experience:

1. Educational Background: A strong interest in data analysis, marketing, or a related field is essential. Prior experience or coursework in data analysis is advantageous but not mandatory.
2. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL is preferred; willingness to learn and develop skills in SQL and Power BI is essential. Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.
3. Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret and analyse data effectively, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences.
5. Team Player: A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work well within a team environment while also demonstrating independence in your work.
