MARKETING COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Mischief is a global entertainment sensation, creating award winning comedy for stage, screen and beyond. Mischief is serious about silliness, currently celebrating ten years in the West End, as well as bringing joy and laughter to audiences around the world.
Mischief Worldwide Ltd (MWL) holds the rights to Mischief Projects to help people around the world make Mischief, and to support, develop and license the rights of all the creative individuals who contribute to Mischief work. MWL is also the Mischief hub: a central place for strategy, joined up thinking, communicating internally as a broader Mischief gang, and externally to stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join MWL, as Mischief continues to grow globally. We are looking for someone with two years’ experience marketing live experiences, to step into a fast paced, creative, ambitious team as Marketing Coordinator, supporting the Head of Marketing & Brand across Mischief shows, projects and brand. We need a highly organised, diligent, creative individual who has a flexible, proactive and common-sense approach to their work. We also want to meet people who are passionate about the power of laughter, who are committed to excellence, enthused by theatre and media and are excited about working as part of a small, busy and welcoming team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERALL PURPOSE
To coordinate marketing and campaign activity for Mischief and their productions and provide marketing administrative support, be a guardian of the Mischief brand as it grows and develops, support the Head of Marketing & Brand, and assist the wider Mischief team when needed.
Sales & Ticketing:
- Liaise with ticket agents coordinating sales promotions and specialist audience campaigns (groups, education tourism).
- Pro-actively find new channels to promote and raise awareness of Mischief access performances.
- Coordinate distribution of Daily and Weekly Sales Reports.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Supply marketing assets as requested (production images, copy, trailers, animations, etc)
- Coordinate specialist audience marketing activity, including groups, education and tourism campaigns.
- Provide support at events, opening nights and gala performances.
- Provide budget support and process invoices for marketing activity.
- Coordinate Mischief owned media campaigns across website, newsletter, social and other comms.
Social & Content:
- Coordinate social media content creation with Social Media Manager, Content Creator and cast Social Captain.
- Coordinate social content requests from partners and agents.
- Oversee social content calendar with social manager.
- Update and maintain social channel content and profile info.
Digital & Website:
- Plan, create and send Mischief Newsletters, report insights and learnings, and apply to campaigns.
- Coordinate PS swaps with partners and friends.
- Upload data from ticketing and promotional partners remaining GDPR compliant.
- Coordinate podcast episode creation and distribution for MISCHIEF MAKERS PODCAST, including creating marketing and promotional campaigns activity across Mischief and partner channels.
- Maintain and update content across the Mischief and show websites. Support development of new website sections working with digital designers and developers.
- Provide regular Website reports and insights.
- Coordinate all Mischief website domain ownership.
- Provide copy and assets for the paid digital campaign.
- Coordinate using and reporting on success of Mischief QR Codes.
Merchandise & Promotions:
- Arrange promotional merchandise for shows and brand.
- Proof and approve assets for promotions and partnerships.
- Create marketing campaigns across Mischief owned media channels for partner activity.
General:
- Draft copy and proof-read all marketing and press materials for shows and projects.
- Brief Graphic Designer and navigate creative approval process.
- Undertake research for shows or projects.
- Proofread and update all Mischief Playbill and Programmes.
- Arrange charity partnerships.
- Collate global Mischief News and distribute to key global team members.
- File and archive marketing materials.
- Support the general management team with marketing requests from productions.
- Minute all marketing meetings and transcribe interviews as required.
- Support Head of Marketing & Brand as required and undertake all other jobs as reasonably requested in the day-to-day administration of the role and provide support for the wider Mischief team as needed.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- 2+ years of experience in live entertainment or event marketing.
- Rigourous attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in working with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of varying social media platforms and current trends.
- Copywriting, content creation and design skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, digital and social media platforms.
- Preferred experience of WordPress or similar CMS.

OVERVIEW

MWL is based in the Kenny Wax Productions (KWP) office at 8th Floor Imperial House, 8 Kean Street, London, WC2B 4AS. Hybrid and flexible working is subject to agreement and policy.
Annual Holiday: 25 days per year, plus public holidays
Working Hours: Normally 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with a paid lunch break of one hour each day. Some occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
Contract term: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Salary: Competitive
