About The RoleWe're looking for a Marketing Content Writer/Editor who can create engaging content across our platforms while skillfully using AI to optimize the production process. You'll develop high-quality articles, emails, and marketing materials that reinforce our brand voice and drive engagement. This role combines creative writing talent with technical expertise in the use of AI to improve our content reach and SEO performance.
This is a fully remote and part-time role initially looking for 2 days/week with possible scope to expand this in the future.
Responsibilities- Write engaging blog posts and articles that drive organic search traffic
- Build efficient content creation workflows using AI tools
- Adapt and refine AI-generated content to match our straightforward, jargon-free voice
- Create marketing copy for website, email campaigns, and newsletters
- Apply SEO best practices while maintaining natural, readable content
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all published content
- Help plan and maintain our content calendar to support marketing goals
- Be flexible and ready to help wherever needed in our small team
To thrive in this role, you need- Bachelor's degree - preferably in a writing-intensive subject, but numerate degrees welcome with demonstrated writing ability
- 2+ years of content writing or copywriting experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing and editing skills
- Skilled and comfortable with AI tools - staying current with developments, combining tools creatively, building efficient workflows
- Track record of creating SEO-driven content that ranks well
- Quick learner who can grasp and explain technical concepts
- Comfortable with digital tools and new technologies
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects
- Ability to write both creative and technical content
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
But it would also be great if you have- Experience working within a Marketing department/environment
- Experience working in a fully remote role
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools
- Knowledge of keyword research tools and techniques
- Experience with Social Media scheduling
