They are looking for a creative Marketing Content Creator to support their rapid expansion plans. This challenging role will require the ability to generate high-quality and SEO-focused web content, email copy, promotional copy, and social media posts, as well as long-form case studies, customer stories, and thought leadership pieces. Experience within video scripting, podcasting, and webinars would also be advantageous. But you will get a lot of autonomy, flexibility, responsibility, and ownership within this role.
You will need to be highly passionate about B2B marketing content creation across various different channels. Ideally, you will have experience working for a FinTech company, Accountancy Software Vendor, or a company selling into the accounting space.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the core content roadmap, respond to the wider content demands of the team, and proactively suggest content ideas that align with the business strategy.
- Research and produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content, including blog articles, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, social media posts, website copy, and video scripts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product marketing, sales, and customer success, to create content that addresses customer pain points and highlights product value.
- Collaborate with external contributors (experts, journalists, etc.) to finish content provided to align with our brand, tone of voice, and messaging.
- Optimize content for SEO, ensuring increased visibility and organic traffic.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely publication of materials across multiple channels.
- Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitors to create timely and relevant content.
- Work with external freelancers, agencies, or designers to enhance content production when needed.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone across all content formats.
Qualifications & Experience Needed
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within the accounting or B2B SaaS fintech sector.
- Experience with video scripting, webinar planning, or podcasting is a bonus.
- Desirable – Degree or 2nd level qualification in Journalism, English, or Marketing.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
