Location: Remote but based in Scotland
Hours: 3 hours per week
Pay: £2,570/year (£30,000 pro rata)
Reports to: Chair & Board

About The BIT Collective
The mission of the BIT Collective is to catalyse progressive and intersectional structural change in the Scottish Folk and Traditional Music community. The objective of BIT Collective is to support, platform and advocate for projects by women, non-binary, and trans musicians, or by their clear allies.
Role Overview:
The Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in increasing awareness, engagement, and attendance for The BIT Collective’s events and initiatives. Working closely with the Development Officer and Board, this role will primarily focus on promoting The BIT Collective’s activities through email marketing, social media, and print materials. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and detail-oriented, with a passion for traditional music and arts, alongside strong design skills to ensure impactful and visually compelling marketing campaigns.
