Marketing Communications Executive - Publications & PR
Location: Birmingham
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
Job type: Full-time, permanent. Two days per week hybrid.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for an experienced Marketing Communications Executive to join their ever-expanding team. The main focus for this role is creating engaging editorial content to promote our client to its targeted audience.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Executive:

1. Managing the production of all forms of printed marketing materials (catalogues, brochures, direct mail, in-house newsletter): photography, layout and presentation, copywriting, print and delivery.
2. Working with the PR agency to produce articles, press releases, white papers, guides etc.
3. Identifying new opportunities to present the Company to its market, e.g. news articles, white papers, case studies, social media.
4. Website: content creation.
5. In-house design, i.e. banners, flyers, stationery.
6. Internal communication: Support the HR team to deliver internal communications including offering communications advice and support and creating communications campaigns (to include their CSR campaign).

Requirements of the Marketing Communications Executive:

1. Proven copywriting skills (for various communications channels).
2. Well organised, able to prioritise, multi-task and work independently.
3. Excellent project management and analytical skills with the ability to see projects through to completion.
4. Self-motivated and capable of dealing with fast moving and varied projects.
5. Proven attention to detail.
6. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels both in and outside the organisation.
7. A high level of integrity and confidentiality.
8. A passion for marketing communications.
9. Computer literate with a good working ability in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
10. Degree educated or with an equivalent marketing qualification.
11. A full UK driving licence.
