Established in 2006, Equate Scotland is the national expert in gender equality throughout the STEM sectors. By supporting women through their recruitment, retention, and progression journeys, Equate delivers tangible and sustainable change. Funded by the Scottish Government, the programme is hosted by Edinburgh Napier University and is based at the Edinburgh Napier University Craiglockhart campus.
Equate works in collaboration with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) sector, academia, statutory and third sector bodies, and the Scottish Government, enabling more women to study, work and progress in these key sectors. The programme ethos is to create an inclusive and enjoyable place of work, and we welcome discussions on flexible and hybrid working opportunities.
