Position Overview
We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help bring our marketing strategies to life. In this role, you’ll assist with events, campaigns, social media, and day-to-day marketing operations. If you’re highly organised, creative, and passionate about the latest marketing trends, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a purpose-driven company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Co-ordination: You will assist in the execution and monitoring of national marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  2. Event planning: You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to manage a variety of events, including webinars, international trade shows, and customer conferences. From concept to execution, you’ll play an integral role throughout the entire process.
  3. Social Media Co-ordination: You will support the day-to-day execution and management of social media communications, including scheduling and uploading posts, monitoring engagement, and generating weekly engagement reports for the team.
  4. Content Creation: You will work closely with our Content Creator to develop fresh ideas for social media posts, blogs, videos, and other content formats. You’ll work on multiple projects from concept to completion while tracking and analysing engagement.
  5. Market Research: You'll conduct secondary research to identify trends and monitor the competition ensuring Smoothwall retains its market-leading position.

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (eg. CIM) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.

Desirable

  • Experience with Hubspot or similar automation platform
  • Experience working in the technology sector
