Job description

As a Marketing Co-ordinator, you are responsible for marketing materials/information, customer communications, customer trips to producers, producer visit itineraries and supporting the execution of trade marketing and events.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing support: supporting the Sales team with marketing requests, such as creating bespoke event and training booklets, and other materials as required.
  2. Customer trips: liaising with Buying, Brand Management, producers, Sales teams and customers to create trips for customers visiting producers.
  3. Supplier visits: liaising with Buying and Brand Management teams to create itineraries for visiting producers to maximise commercial success.
  4. Trade marketing: support the installation of on-trade and off-trade brand visibility, manage POS stock and orders, and work with production agencies to develop new materials (particularly for our Champagne brands).
  5. Customer communications: working with various departments across the business to send customer updates, such as service updates, Fine Wine Lists and Price List updates.
  6. Fact sheets: supporting creation of product fact sheet content for marketing materials and website.
  7. Wine award entries: support Brand Management and producers with coordination of wine award entries for various competitions.
  8. Event Coordination: assist the Events and Brand Management (particularly Champagne) teams in the organisation of events, such as product launches and sponsorships, including the management of samples, POS materials, marketing collateral, and event logistics.

About you

  1. Highly organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail.
  2. Strong communication skills in written and spoken English is essential. French would be advantageous.
  3. Previous experience in a marketing, events or brand support role.
  4. Previous experience in the wine trade working with both customers and producers is advantageous.
  5. A good level of wine knowledge, ideally a minimum of WSET Level 3.
  6. Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  7. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat is advantageous.
