Purpose of the Role:
As part of the Marketing Planning & Campaigns team, reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be at the heart of supporting the planning, creation and execution of multi-channel campaign activity across the business. In particular you will have lead responsibility for activity that supports our physical retail - store openings / closures / refurbishments, local marketing opportunities, and other areas in which the retail operations team need marketing support (e.g. recruitment).
Whilst your key internal ‘customer’ will be the retail team, you will work collaboratively right across Moss helping generate campaign activity that balances revenue-generating and brand objectives, with hitting short-term retail targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create and execute marketing materials and activities for store openings, refurbishments, moves, closures, to efficiently and effectively support footfall and trading targets.
- Ensure all activities align with the brand’s longer-term strategy, enhancing local brand perception and awareness.
- Collaborate closely with Retail, CRM, PR & Social, Paid Media, and key stakeholders to ensure cohesive marketing execution.
- Work with the Retail team (HQ, regional, and local) to ensure marketing activities are well understood and supported by them.
- Assist in analysing marketing performance data, drawing insights to enhance local marketing activities and playing back results to local and HQ teams.
- Manage asset distribution and provide local marketing support to key retail locations.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical:
- Previous experience in planning and delivering on-the-ground marketing for physical retail or other organisations with a physical presence in multiple areas.
- An appreciation of multi-channel marketing dynamics, including in-store and online integration.
- Some experience in working with, analysing, and drawing conclusions from, data. Not scared of numbers and spreadsheets.
- Some experience using corporate software - e.g. spreadsheets and planning tools.
- Really well-organised. Gets a kick out of creating order from chaos.
- Interest in the world of clothes and fashion retail (but direct fashion/retail experience not essential).
- Some experience of working with agencies/studios to get good, effective creative work.
