Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join award-winning Artist Lucy Pittaway and our dynamic marketing team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to and develop our marketing strategy, working closely with the Head of Marketing to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
The ideal candidate will support various marketing initiatives, contributing to the overall success of our campaigns. This role requires a blend of creativity and organisational skills, as well as familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, and Google Ads.
- Project Management: Support key projects by coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources for various marketing projects agreed with your line manager.
- Advertising: Manage the online and offline advertising schedule, booking adverts, and negotiating with our external partners to obtain competitive rates.
- Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Copy Writing: Create compelling copy for various online and offline platforms, including websites, newsletters, press releases and promotional materials when and where required.
- Website: Assist in maintaining the company website and liaising with our website provider to complete daily tasks and projects.
- Ideas: Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas for new marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on marketing campaign performance, including KPIs and ROI. Use data insights to refine strategies, ensuring campaigns meet goals and support business growth.
- Events: Plan, deliver and execute events and provide a summary report as to its success.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with other departments, including Galleries, Design, Framing, and Fulfilment, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts. Build relationships with external partners, such as agencies and suppliers, to support campaign delivery.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and design team as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Mailchimp, Aero Commerce (or equivalent), and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Highly organised with strong time management abilities.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
- Google Ads is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience working within a retail environment.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing environments.
