Role overview

Here at Citygate, we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our highly productive and engaging marketing team in our brand new, state of the art Head Office in Marlow. In this exciting role you will be working alongside the rest of the marketing team and assisting with the groups multi- channel marketing strategy, presence, and tone of voice both online and offline. You will working towards building and maintaining strong working relationships with all members of staff, third-party advertisers, and manufacturer representatives. Key responsibilities

As a Marketing Assistant your key responsibilities will be:

• Create engaging content for our social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. Video content is a focus, basic editing skills are a must.
• Assist in creating and implementing customer advertising/communication campaigns along with tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure retail offers/messaging is unified across all online channels.
• Write engaging copy for the Group's blog.
• Monitor competitor activity and suggest potential improvements to our strategy, website, and customer experience within the marketing space.
• Assist the team with all internal and external events.
• Ensure GDPR customer preferences are updated on all marketing systems.
• Source and update relevant brand offers/communications via Hub's to ensure all content is up to date

As a Marketing Assistant, you will ideally have the following skill and experiences:

• Passionate about all things social media - you're someone who keeps up to date with social trends and is constantly eager to create content
• Creative – you're someone who is naturally creative and positive creating content, editing videos & writing engaging copy
• An all-rounder – you're someone who is happy to help our where needed within the marketing team
• Eager to learn – you're someone who wants to learn every aspect of digital marketing and is happy to spend the time developing skills and techniques
• Positive & upbeat – you're someone who enjoys a team working environment, meeting new people, interacting with people around the business and building relationships with our brand partners
