Our client, an established and highly regarded finance broker with a global profile across the UK, New York, Singapore and Japan, is seeking a Marketing & Projects Coordinator to join their team. This is a busy and wide-ranging role, supporting the UK and their international offices in a variety of marketing tasks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get involved with traditional and product marketing, marketing analysis, and project work, providing great exposure as part of a more intimate team.
Marketing Assistant - What the role involves
The role extends beyond traditional project management and is broad in nature. The successful candidate will be hands-on day-to-day, working across the organisation to deliver value.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working with the front-desk to create marketing campaigns for customer platforms, reports, and trading services, driving awareness and adoption.
- Coordinating online and in-person events from start to finish, including: invitation creation, distribution, external promotion, venue sourcing, catering, on-the-day event organisation, and post-event follow-up.
- Collaborating with the Sales teams to deliver educational content through stand-alone events and key industry gatherings.
- Branding & Collateral
- Working with design partners to develop and evolve branding, logos, and templates in line with new initiatives and general business requirements.
- Ensuring all marketing collateral is kept up-to-date and relevant for products and services.
- Delivering technology project plans for core business applications.
- Assisting senior members of the Projects and Marketing team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Being the point of contact for day-to-day ticket management of issues on technical applications.
- Acting as a liaison between the Sales & Trading desk and key software partners who provide technical support on various platforms.
Marketing Assistant - What the role entails
- The candidate will be a graduate or of graduate calibre, with 1-2 years of experience.
- Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget with positive outcomes.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Creative ability to generate thoughtful marketing content for product campaigns and collateral.
- A tenacious, positive outlook underpinned by a can-do attitude.
- A desire to learn and build relationships across a global business.
