Job description

Position: Marketing Assistant
Reports to: Head of Marketing

Hours of Work: 38 hours per week, working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.15pm
Location: Letchworth
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and market opportunities.
  2. Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights for strategic planning.
  3. Customer Feedback: Seek and collect customer feedback through phone, survey, and emails to create compelling case studies and testimonials.
  4. CRM Management: Keep the CRM system up to date with accurate and current customer information.
  5. Sales Support: Assist the sales team by creating engaging sales decks and presentations.
  6. Analytics Gathering: Collect and analyze marketing and sales data to inform decision-making and strategy.
  7. Proofing: Proof-read marketing material.
  8. Ad hoc: Perform ad hoc admin and marketing tasks.
Requirements:
  1. Education: A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in a marketing role or internship is a plus.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong research and analytical skills.
    2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    4. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
    5. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
    6. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is highly desirable.

    1. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
    2. Proactive and willing to take initiative.
    3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    4. Must be comfortable speaking to customers on the phone.
