Marketing Analyst

Job Title: Marketing Scientist

Location: London

Salary: £125,000 per year

Duration: 12 months

About the Role:

As a Marketing Scientist, you will be the quantitative measurement professional driving the measurement strategy for our client’s largest global advertisers. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping how clients conduct and utilise measurement to demonstrate the true value of advertising. Collaborating cross-functionally with advertisers, sales teams, and the Marketing Science team, you will be at the forefront of innovative marketing analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Value: Help global advertisers measure the true business value of Facebook’s advertising by operationalizing analyses and research.
  • Strategic Development: Play a strategic role in developing cross-platform and cross-media measurement approaches tailored for our global clients.
  • Conduct Studies: Perform in-depth standard and custom ad effectiveness studies to assess the impact of various marketing strategies across digital platforms.
  • Adoption of Methodologies: Foster client, vertical, and industry adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches.
  • Client Engagement: Engage in senior client conversations, present results, and consult with sales teams on marketing best practices using evidence-based insights.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Provide feedback and collaborate with Product, R&D, and Partnerships teams to identify opportunities for new features and products.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven experience in research, analytics, or ad effectiveness.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioural or social science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Advertising: Strong understanding of online advertising, branding, and performance marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques.
  • Statistical Analysis Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis, experimental design, modelling, or advertising research.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences and inspire action based on data-driven insights.
  • Independent Operator: A track record of working independently, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and delivering results in an organised manner.

Top 3 Must-Haves:

  • Proficiency in Turkish (reading and writing)
  • Market analytical experience
  • Client-facing experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building Marketing Mix Models (MMM)
  • Experience building Ad Growth Models (AGM)
