Market Analyst with a qualification in a business-related discipline, good project management skills and the ability to work to deadlines is required for a global company based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

Graduates / Undergraduates Considered

Some relevant experience in market analysis gained through internships, a year in industry, sandwich year or similar would be preferred, however this is not essential as Graduates / Undergraduates will also be considered.

SALARY: £25,000 - £33,595 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid – working partly from the office in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire (HR9) and partly from home (after probationary period)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Market Analyst with a qualification in a business-related discipline, good project management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

Working as the Market Analyst you will provide market analysis support to the organisations Window/Fenestration Solutions division providing data, trends and insights to support successful, timely decisions and actions.

As the Market Analyst you will be IT literate using Microsoft Office applications, will work well in a team setting and will be a confident communicator who can articulate well to a wide range of stakeholders.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Market Analyst will include:

1. Reporting on KPIs
2. Creation and maintenance of sales controlling dashboards
3. Developing and providing customer specific overviews and market insights
4. Work closely with other departments both in the UK and overseas including Sales, Marketing and in particular Product Management, where master data maintenance and analysis of market trends will be critical to the success of new product launches and ongoing business in the UK Fenestration sectors.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, strong team player who acts with a customer first mentality.

Professional background

1. Undergraduate level qualification in a business-related discipline (2:1 preferred)
2. A year in industry or relevant market analysis experience gained through internships is a plus, but not essential.
3. Level B2/C1 standard in English is essential
4. Proficiency in a second language (German desired) is preferred but not essential.

Skills

1. IT literate in the following Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
2. Experience with CRM systems is preferred however, training will be provided.
3. Project management skills, including the ability to work well in a team setting.
4. Confident communicator who can articulate themselves well to a wide range of stakeholders.
5. Prioritisation and organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines is essential.
