Job description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Maritime Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Marine or Weapons Engineering, who can operate effectively in a hybrid working environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting critical maritime and defence-related projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide engineering expertise within the maritime domain, with a focus on either surface vessels or submarines.
  2. Support the delivery of technical solutions and safety-related assessments where applicable.
  3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project outcomes meet quality and safety standards.
  4. Contribute to the development and application of engineering processes, practices, and tools.

About You:
  1. Background in Marine Engineering or Weapons Engineering.
  2. Strong experience within the maritime sector (surface or sub-surface).
  3. Ability to work hybrid, with up to 2 days per week on-site in Bristol.
  4. Must live within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance to Bristol.

Role: Maritime Engineer
Location: Bristol (Hybrid working model 2 days in office/ at client site)
Salary: Up to £55K + Benefits


Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
