Project Manager – Marine Engineering

Based near Littlehampton (hybrid/flexible considered)

£55,000–£70,000 depending on experience

Servac is growing – and fast. We design and install bespoke vacuum and wastewater systems for commercial marine vessels across the UK. We’re known for our precision, technical expertise, and straightforward, honest approach.

This is not your average project management role.

We're looking for someone who has walked the decks, understands how marine systems work, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of complex wastewater installation and servicing projects, providing boots-on-the-ground insight while also steering client relationships and internal operations.

You’ll work closely with our MD and founder, Steve, who currently wears many hats. The aim is to hand over the operational reins to someone with enough marine or engineering know-how to hit the ground running, manage site activity, and represent Servac with credibility and confidence.

What we’re looking for:

• Background in marine plumbing, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, or similar
• Hands-on knowledge of marine refits, vessel systems, or shipyard operations
• A practical mindset – happy to roll up your sleeves when needed
• Great people skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel across the UK (frequency will vary depending on projects)

Candidates with Royal Navy, RAF, or military engineering experience (especially SNCO ranks) are welcome to apply. Your leadership and technical background will be highly valued.
