Marine Engineer - Marine Technician required in Southampton

Preferred Experience: Volvo Penta or MAN experience preferred

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Client's Motor Yacht Service & Warranty Repair team in Southampton, Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

1. Service, maintenance and repair of inboard engines with a 'right first time' attitude;
2. Working on electrical and mechanical systems;
3. General maintenance and preparation of boats ready for customer use;
4. Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and testing all vessels;
5. Documenting work required and completed accurately on job cards;
6. Carrying out warranty repairs, this will include work locally and further afield and therefore requires a full UK driving licence;

Requirements:

1. Qualification in Marine Engineering;
2. Experience within the Leisure Yachting sector;
3. Full UK driving licence;
4. Experience with Volvo Penta or MAN engines is highly beneficial.
