We are looking for an experienced Marine Engineer / Marine Technician to join a well-established marine business based in Lymington. As the Marine Engineer / Marine Technician, you will carry out all aspects of marine works on various pleasure vessels, predominantly installing, servicing, repairing or overhauling inboards and outboards, plus some vessel HVAC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repairs, Servicing, Maintenance and Commissioning of marine engines, controls, propulsion units & HVAC
2. Ability to work both in the field and workshop
3. Full workshop overhaul and repairs of marine engines to manufacturer's standards
4. Carry out new machinery and equipment installations
5. Compile parts lists for work in progress for quotations and assist parts department with parts selected for jobs
6. Ensure all relevant paperwork and reports are completed correctly
7. Work is mostly carried out along the South Coast (within 20 miles of site); however, from time to time it may be necessary to travel further afield and overseas
8. Work with premium brands such as: Volvo Penta, Honda and Suzuki

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Marine Engineering Qualification desirable
2. Full UK Driving Licence
3. Must be able to travel as required
