Job Summary: The Marine Control Room Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient monitoring and control of marine operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control all marine operations through the control room systems, ensuring adherence to operational and safety protocols.
Coordinate with deck officers, engineers, and offshore personnel to ensure seamless operations.
Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, system failures, and emergency situations.
Maintain accurate logs and records of control room activities, system performance, and operational parameters.
Conduct routine checks and maintenance of control room equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Support the implementation of safety and environmental management systems.
Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
