Offer Description

We invite applications for the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in the field of Geotechnical Engineering. Candidates with expertise and a strong research interest in the following areas are highly encouraged to apply:

  • Offshore Geotechnics: Addressing challenges in foundation and anchor design for renewable energy infrastructures such as floating offshore wind turbines.
  • Slope Stability and Analysis: Investigating the effects of spatial variability, rainfall, and external loading on slope stability through numerical modeling, physical testing, or probabilistic approaches.
  • Machine Learning in Geotechnical Engineering: Utilising data-driven approaches to model and predict soil-structure interactions or other complex geotechnical problems.
  • Reliability-Based/Probabilistic Geotechnical Analysis: Developing methods to incorporate uncertainty and variability in geotechnical design, ensuring safer and more economical solutions.
