Job description

Manufacturing / Scanning Operatives
Location: Livingston - Deans Industrial Estate
Contract Type: Temporary Assignment
Working Days: Monday - Saturday (6 days per week)

Shift Patterns:

05:45 AM - 13:45 PM
14:15 PM - 22:15 PM

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Pertemps are currently recruiting Manufacturing / Scanning Operatives on behalf of our client based in Livingston. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team in a well-established organisation. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and fulfil dispatch requests - including sourcing, picking, cleaning, packing, and shipping
  2. Carry out quality checks to ensure devices meet redeployment standards
  3. Operate industrial scanners to digitise documents efficiently
  4. Input data accurately into internal systems
  5. Bind and prepare documents as required
  6. Maintain accurate inventory records and remove shipped assets from the system
  7. Conduct regular stock counts to support inventory accuracy
  8. Ensure dispatch documentation, shipment, and tracking information is always up to date
  9. Handle items using correct packaging methods to prevent damage during transport
  10. Monitor packaging supplies and apply good inventory control practices
  11. Support warehouse and production teams to help meet service level agreements (SLAs)

About You:
  1. Confident using Excel, CRM, and general computer systems
  2. Experience in stock control and audits
  3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  4. Methodical, accurate, and efficient, even in a fast-moving environment
  5. A team player with great communication skills and a solid understanding of logistics
