Manufacturing & Process Engineer

At our factory in Old Woking, we have a full production and R&D facility, both of which sit alongside our head office. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-driven and proficient engineer to join our team and drive operational efficiencies and standardize/imbed processes across the manufacturing site.

The role will include responsibilities in assisting with production volume and quality of the products along with requiring good team collaboration between departments such as design, quality, & production team leaders. Furthermore, automation will also be a significant part of the role, utilizing new technologies to improve the manufacturing facility which will require a hands-on approach to assist in designing and creating new and innovative machines in-house.

What this role involves:

1. Leading and assisting with continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events
2. Leading root cause analysis investigations for problems faced in manufacturing
3. Editing and creating SOP for the operators in manufacturing
4. Coding PLC to operate the automation machinery
5. Drawing electrical diagrams for the automation
6. The use of and making edits in our warehouse management system (IFS)
